She graduated from Ankara Koleji in 1990 and same year she attended Bilkent University and studied English Language and Literature.  After she graduated in 1994, she went to Houston, TX. to further study Business Managemet.  While she was there, she also attended various courses on drilling, oil and gas sector agreements and oil company management.

After she came back to Turkey in 1997, she began working for AME as a Coordinator.  She was responsible coordinating between AME and the Company’s joint operating partners, preparing and submitting AFE’s and also undertaking of Joint Operating Agreements.

With the establishment of GYP, she became Member of the Board of the Company was also responsible with the same workload as with AME.

When Ersan was acquired, she became Member of the Board of Ersan Petrol.
